Work continued throughout the days and evenings. Clearing out the paths and clearing them up was the goal and they were making steady progress on the matter.
Here Lucian noticed that his new body was greater than what he had before. Indeed he never felt tired working before, but now he was accomplishing feats beyond what he previously could. To add to that he was working from then rise of the sun and the lowering of the sun, his body not even once willing to give out as the Knight worked.
The same stamina was shared by Adok and Bok. Where Lucian focused himself with the clearing of large weeds and shrubs the Dwarf had focused himself on repairing clearly ruined brick and bigger trees. When Lucian had first heard the explosion he ran over to see a laughing Adok, the Dwarf saying he had carved an explosion Rune in the tree to blow it down.
Throughout the days of work the Knight could not help but feel something was admist. Indeed it was like he was being watched by someone. He had a pretty decent guess at who it was, so he had not tried to deal with them yet. Too busy was he working at preparing the ritual.
Clearing out the rest of the foliage was done in the middle of a day. Adok cheering on the accomplishment with a small mumble to himself. When they talked to Tee-Nee-Tyny, the Skink had confirmed that the ritual was ready to be done, but that it needed to be night for it to happen.
So the evening was theirs.
