Terrorists are flung from its back along with fragments of metal and sheets of armour. Shroomy peels off large amounts of Cyber Shelob’s hull, making it vulnerable to future attacks. The barely cognizant mind of the giant spider stares out from under the cybernetic fittings, then it lunges back to clash at the same time, directly slicing with metal weapons.

Unfortunately, its attack fails to cut down the spider, unable to make it through the chitin that’s underneath the metal. It’s too hard for an inopportune strike to breach. The spider can’t keep Shroomy down either. Every attack heals within moments, leaving the mushroom unscarred.

Fortunately, it’s humanity to the rescue. Regional military forces have been briefed that the mushroom is not a target. Meanwhile, the giant spider is. They’ve previously failed to attack it due to its anti-air capabilities, coupled with how far away Africa is, but with the spider engaged, they can come by and bomb it with ease. Spain and Germany are two of the largest contributors to this effort.
