In addition, you shouldn't trust whatever they say could get on the job interviews as they could just make themselves as capable as possible just so they could get the job and there's also the fact that they're criminals. A LOT of people lie in job interviews, it's mostly just them sizing themselves up and if you don't believe me then there's multiple articles on google explaining this when you search this particular subject up.
