She had quite literally jumped out of her seat and clung to the ceiling after one of the more clever ones, and you had to pause the movie in order to calm her down long enough to get her back on the ground.
You suggested stopping the movie after that, but the girl bravely tried to tough it out. You compiled with her wishes, but you made sure to huddle around her and hold her hand for the remainder. There were a few times where you thought she’d squeezed your hand hard enough to break it, but you all somehow made it through.
For the next movie, you all thought it’d be best to let W choose. Her decision was almost instant, and you couldn’t help but smile when you saw the movie she’d picked.
Kung Fu Panda. A Dreamworks classic.
It was a nice, comfy movie. Exactly what she needed after that last one. Her expressions and innocent questions and comments were priceless. It almost reminded you of when you’d watched movies with Pete and Richard.
Once again, W fidgeted and twitched with anticipation, eager to try out some of the moves she’d seen in the movie. You told her to at least wait until after it was done before she got up from her seat and started bouncing around, and she complied.
After the movie ended, you were sure to give everyone a break so that you could grab a snack, use the bathroom, and just stretch your legs. But considering how late it was, you weren’t very surprised when Cindy passed out in the middle of the last movie.
You and Flint had the pleasure of joining W in her first time watching the Lord of the Rings. Her eyes were wide wide with childlike wonder, and she asked a lot of questions that you couldn’t answer without spoiling the movie, but you absolutely loved every moment of it.
There was something incredible about introducing something that made a huge impact on you to someone else, and watching it happen all over again. You hoped that Morlocks could do this for her during her time down by the Alley.
What will you say?
>”Do you like the name W, or would you like a proper one?”>”You’re welcome to drop by and visit if you ever want to do this again. As far as me and Abel are concerned, you’re family.”>”Do you want to borrow the trilogy before you leave? I’m pretty sure they’ve got a DVD player down there now.”>”How about we go clothes shopping in the morning before the meeting? You need more than one pair of clothes if you’re going to be moving out.”>Nothing. Just sit back and enjoy the movie.>Write-in.Pastebins:
