>>5185635"Thanks for the ride, my guy!" The miniature man waves his hand. "The food was delicious! Only a few more hours and he'll be standing in no time." You see his wounds being closed as fast as the elf bats his wings over Guts.
Shaking the fruit pile, you notice that there wasn't a single apple left in the basket. It's crazy to think that this guy can eat more in a few minutes than what you can forcefully shove down your throat in a day!
"Is Guts going to be ok?"
"For sure! He just needs to lay down for a bit, I'm not sure if he'll be down to it though."
"But I need to--"
"No you don't!" Puck strikes Guts across the face with a burdock as he tries to stand up. If a slap on the wrist is all it takes for him to shut up, then he really is down for the count...
"Fine... How's the situation outside then?"
"They won't reach us for a while. Seems like we can stay on the mountainside until then."
"Is it close to nighttime?"
"I'd say we have a few more hours. From here it's either up towards the peak, moving the boulder on the way or wasting a few hours going back to where we were."
"Plenty of time to catch up. Hope you don't mind me listening! I wanna know how this loner found a friend before me!" Puck rests on your shoulder, barely weighing more than a feather.
"She told me you were dead... That they executed you for witchcraft...I never thought you would still be alive... Why were you in hiding?" Guts briefly thinks about Casca before his mind went back to what he lost before he left his group.
>It was either that or dying in a ditch.>What did they say about my passing?>How is Casca doing?>How did you meet Puck?>Where did you get that Behelit?>Tell me more about the dead children.
