>>5832822“Right!” you call, quickly speaking the words as you fly into the center, your Stand and the Jiralhanae elder leaving you just enough room in the middle to kneel down. Reciting the words as quickly as possible, it isn't good enough as you sense another one die before you can finish. Unleashing the wave of healing light once more, you rise as soon as the miracle finishes casting. And without waiting jump over to the other circle, kneeling down and speaking the words while thinking to the Jiralhanae Chieftan. “As soon as you give the word, I'll finish the miracle. I can hold it for a few more seconds.”
“Just a few more.” he replies, one already in the circle passing away as Triumph Requiem brings one over, and he brings another two. “Now.”
And with the final word spoken, you ring the chime once more. Your inner magical energy, what Chilli'd called mana is burned away, converted into the healing miracle as that wave of golden light radiates out. However, as it does, something feels wrong. You feel something inside you pull tight, then snap like that suit of armor Maz and Kayle were playing tug-of-war with as everything goes black. The last thing you feel is the sensation of falling, then nothing.
The next thing you can feel is the sensation of being weightless. It feels relaxing, but something's wrong. You feel like you're forgetting something, something important that you were doing before. But then it hits you, everything coming rushing back as your eyes snap open. Only to see the familiar medical bay in your home, except from the unfamiliar angle of inside of one of the healing pods itself. As you fully return to consciousness, Dr. White must have noticed from your vitals as the fluid of the pod begins draining. As soon as it does the door opens, your Stand immediately rushing in and grabbing you. To your surprise, Triumph Requiem is hugging you.
“You worried me when you collapsed and wouldn't wake up. My feather healed you, but you did not awake, so I brought you here.” your Stand explains, releasing you a moment later and holding onto your shoulders. “I'm glad you're okay.”
“Me too.” you tell your Stand, then turn to Dr. White's desk where the doctor surprisingly isn't. Looking around, you actually don't see him in the room at all. “Huh. Wonder where he went?”
“He left about seven hours ago, went into the back through that door.” your Stand gesturing to the door behind his desk at the far wall. And, sure enough, you can sense his ki through there. “He said he needed to sleep as well.”
“How... How long was I out?” you ask, worry filling your mind. There were still more Jiralhanae who needed help, others who could have been taken to other medical facilities to have possibly saved them.
