When you go to the next stall on the following day, you are to ask the stallkeeper if the item has been delivered. If the stallkeeper hands you the items upon asking, you can take that as a sign that your message has been passed on but no contact will be forthcoming in the near future. If the stallkeeper tells you that the item is out of stock you can consider the network compromised, you should leave the area immediately and not return. If the item is expected to arrive soon, you are to wait in the vicinity for a few hours and leave -without- taking the items in question.
You’re not entirely certain what the last message was meant to convey, the whole thing seems inordinately complex and obfusticating for a simple errand. But perhaps that is the entire point. In any case there happens to be a khave shoppe in that particular square across the city, a street or two away from where you encountered the Norsikaans, so you could easily spend a few hours there taking your leisure as a perfectly rational pretence.

>You may not know Sir Cato de Ferros well enough to trust him entirely, but he serves Sir Robert Gilbern and him you do place your trust in well enough. You put your faith in the procedures set out by your Herald friend, and in the Angel to shield you against the eyes of those that would wish you harm. There is no other way to live. [Divine]
>The Reginate agents may have their procedures but they are a continent away and likely slow to react to any changes on the ground here, especially if their network is compromised. You know your contact is connected to the scholars of the Athenaeum, and you are sure you can identify them and introduce yourself on your terms with some investigation. [Hearty]
>The Ordo Reginate gain nothing by exposing your part in their information network, and you will follow their procedure to initiate contact with their agent. But you would be a fool if you did not take certain precautions when you leave the square to ensure you are not followed, whether that is by the contact or any local hostile interest. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. [Idealist]
