>>5189361You’ve been freed from your binds, and Monica has informed you that you can leave your makeshift prison. But you have no intention of doing so. You’re in bad health, you’re hurt and sore, and you can barely stand straight, but every fiber of your being is bidding you kill this girl for what she’s done to your friends. You’re unarmed, but you still have the magic staff that you purchased.
“Hmm? Now why are you still standing there, Blair. Surely you wouldn’t be so stupid as to think you can…”
You grab the magic staff from inside your jacket and channel as much magical energy as you can. In the close quarters you and Monica are in, she should have a hard time dodging a spell of significant power and spread, regardless of how fast she is. You summon forth the most powerful spell you can, rapidly summoning the energy required. The last thing you see before the world around you turns white, is Monica’s grin spread wide enough to show her teeth.

The room quickly turns into hell as it’s torn apart by freezing cold wins and large icicles erupt from the ground. Monica tries to jump back from one of them but is caught dead on and launched outside of the room, along with all four walls surrounding you and the ceiling above. The large freezing explosion would be sure to catch the attention of the Black Eagles, or maybe even the Demonic Beasts if you were unlucky enough. You can’t see Monica through the snow and ice that you summoned, but you know you she took the full force of your attack. As you step back to examine your surroundings, you’re able to tell the extent of the damage you caused. You blew apart the area of the chapel you were being held in completely, and now find yourself outside in what must have served as the backyard. A widespread mist blankets the area, residue left over from your spell. With the walls gone, the sounds of fighting have gotten clearer, and you can hear the unmistakable sound of the Black Eagles, currently in battle with the Demonic Beasts. As you look up towards the sky, you can see Pegasus and Wyvern Knights belonging to the Black Eagles. You begin weighing your options when a dagger emerges from the mist and lances you in the chest.
