“In light of the lessons learned from the previous match, let us impose some more restrictions.” the Grand Priest says, you and Goku looking up towards him. “To make it more enjoyable for his majesty to watch, flying shall be prohibited. There will also be no weapons, and no killing. The first person to touch the outside of the ring will lose, much as on Universe 7's martial arts competitions on Planet Earth.”
“No flying, huh?” you say, turning back to Goku as you feel yourself getting excited. “Just like the last tournament, all those years ago.”
“Except this time, I'm not gonna lose!” Goku replies, immediately taking his fighting stance. You mirror him; knees bent, left arm down and right arm raised up behind the back of your head, ready for anything. You look like mirrors of each other, both waiting for the signal to go. The other deities are still muttering among themselves and their angels, which the Grand Priest's voice cuts through with authority.
“Now then, let the second match...” he calls, swinging his right arm forward. “BEGIN!”

“Let's do this!” Goku shouts, and just as the two of you had all those years ago, you both kick off the ground and sprint directly towards each other. Drawing your right fists back, you each swing for the other's head, fists smashing together with tremendous force. The impact kicks up a shock wave that blasts out from the point of impact, blowing both of your hair back. He smirks at you with genuine joy in his eyes, you matching him with a grin of your own. This is going to be fun!
“Hiyaaa!” you shout, twisting and firing off a turning right kick towards his head just as you had all those years ago. He blocks it with his left forearm, then draws his left leg up and fires a side kick directly at your guts. You react by allowing yourself to drop, his thrusting side kick passing harmlessly over you as you twist, firing off a left turning kick up at him. Goku's right forearm blocks your kick, punching down at you with his left. And right as his fist drops, you cross your arms and block the punch. His punch slams you back-first into the arena floor, your forearms absorbing the force of his blow. “Gyah!”
