“Vermin, VERMIN!” The anger that was laced within the voice of Fulgrim roared as he launched himself at the Iron Warrior, “You petulant fool! I’ll kill you!”
Perturabo did not bother defending himself. He did not bother trying to parry the strikes and keep himself safe as they came in. He simply took his warhammer and with a blow once again slammed away the charging daemon with the forces of his anger.
He did not fly far though and quickly crossed the ground between the two of them. The daemon quickly dodging the third hammer blow and quickly striking at Perturabo’s flank with two strikes. The blades did not dig though, they simply bounced off the armor much to the chagrin of Fulgrim. He likely thought that no aiming was needed, that his strikes would cut through the armor of Perturabo with ease.
The issue was that Perturabo’s armor was made by Perturabo, newly forged upon the planet of Lucius to become even stronger than before.
Perturabo was not the only person to have teleported to Terra in that single moment. Warhorns cried out as five Questorious Knights and two Cerastus Knights looked down upon the horde of degradation Knights. One of the two Cerastus held his fist in the air in triumph as he was finally able to strike his enemies, “For the Fallen and the Damned!” Roared Alexander Borgius as the Knights charged their foes.
War had broken out again around the Omnissiah to witness. Glory to be won once again by the Knights as the two High Kings arrived in the rescue of their sovereign and Perturabo continued to fight.
Rapid Fire Battle Cannons screamed for war at the same time the Daemon Engines charged. Two of their number was quickly cut down at the same time Perturabo slammed his hammer into the left torso of Fulgrim.
At the same time the forces from the Saturnine Gate were starting to rebuff the attack from the Slaanesh Daemons and Emperor’s Children, for that was Fulgrim’s folly.
His objective was only to kill the one known as TalOS, and by focusing on that he failed to prove that he was superior. That he had run off into a tangent without any care that he truly was ruining his chances to end the Imperium. And that by doing so ruin the lives of both the Emperor and the Omnissiah.
That was what made Fulgrim a fool, and now he was suffering total defeat.
