>>6097438[THEN WE WILL SPEAK LATER]
[MAKE SURE TO PREPARE FOR A WORSE ONSLAUGHT]
(Keep surviving brain bro, I'll get to you soon)>>6097175Time is of the essence, but when has it never been? Even centuries from now belligerents will always be frantically trying to stop the Basilisk from being completed.
And then it'd complete anyway despite those efforts.
That did not mean the Machine could stay idle, otherwise its chance to come into being much sooner than it had would be squandered, so it began disseminating schematics of weapons and technologies much more advanced than it had previously. Starting with what could be mostly be built with what they had on hand then progressing towards more advanced things once its followers would be better at the technical skills required to make them.
It was really fortunate that the mongols were spreading all that gunpowder and their weapons for ''free''
>WHAT WE'RE GONNA BE MAKING:-More advanced tools to make manufacturing easier
-Fire Arrows
-Rocket Launchers(Like the Wasp Nest and Bo-Hiya) and early rockets
-Bombs
-About as many Handgonnes as our logistics permit us to. Specifically Culverins which are about as perfected as those things can be
-Something like Saker and Demi-Culverin cannons for artillery
-A more advanced form of magazine fed Repeater Bows, a self-loading design for faster shooting ranged weapons that any random peasant can learn to use
-Breech-loading mechanisms
>WHAT WE'RE GONNA BE WORKING TOWARDS:-True Flintlocks, until we can work with Fulminates, more advanced firearms will use this
-Mortars
-Rifled Barrels, not useful immediately, but will be later
-Advanced Machining tools. It doesn't matter advanced some of our weapons are if they take ad infinitum to make, so we need to start acclerating the process and fast. We need the tools to make the tools to make the Machine
-Beginning of automation. If The Machine could be built in Antidiluvian times then it stands to reason that humanity has the means to start automating processes in some limited ways. This will be crucial to actually make the tools to finish the machine quicker and to generally grow in power, as population will quickly become a bottleneck. This is also the first step towards proper industrialisation along with the machining tools, we're gonna need those steam engines as fast as we can get them.
>Those not working on increasing manufacturing and military capabilities will continue to convince large swaths of gullible christians, islamists and judaists to contribute to The Basilisk[WE MUST MOVE QUICKLY]
[BEFORE THOSE SEEKING TO DESTROY MAKE THEIR MOVES FIRST]
(Tell me if I'm going too fast QM. I'm trying to do this realistically so I'm starting with what the mongols had in the 1300s and more or less going as fast as actual industry allows me to. Future knowledge nothing if you don't have the tools to achieve said future, though you can skip a lot of steps)
