You reject the idea! Tonu doesn’t know you’re a master at heists, and you’ll show him why. Besides, he needs all the help he can get, who knows what will be in the way?
“Pyohoho! Suit yourself!” Tonu likes the company. “Finally teaming up, eh, Edamura?”
“I suppose…” Nariko is more enthralled about teaming up with you! She probably has a chip on her shoulder from Judgment Day when you faced Seioubo on your own. She wants to prove she’s a worthy companion!
You don’t think your OG Hobo has anything to prove, but having her around is sweet! In fact, you’ll show her that her help is very welcomed!
On your way to the men’s dorm, you three find your first obstacle: The members of the Golden Sword!
“Woah! Guys! What are you doing here?” Tonu tries to maintain his good humor, but he’s a little bothered by them standing against him.
“We’re deeply sorry, Master Tonu. But the principal’s word is final.” The grunts lament. “Or should we say… Former Master Tonu…”
“Hi-wow! I lost my title already?!” Tonu didn’t expect the principal to work this fast. “And you guys didn’t protest? My heart! My soul! All breaky-broken!”
“How efficient.” Nariko crosses her arms. “Too efficient I might say…”
“Yes, Principal Gainsbourg took former Master Tonu’s defeat against the blues for granted and already replaced him.” The Grunt exclaims as they step to the side to make way to their new boss. “Behold! Our new leader!”
“A true hero arises when the stakes can’t be any higher! When darkness is at its peak, it’s up to the truly noble to cast their light. And who better to show such heroism than an accomplished gentleman?” A loser with spiky hair walks up to you all. He looks banged up…
“Mr. Duss...?” Tonu feels betrayed. “Why you…?”
“Please, do not take it personally! You were warming up the seat for a true main character.” Spiky hair has a good chuckle.
“Who’s this guy?” You feel like you won’t like this guy at all. Do you even have time to deal with him?
“Another nuisance.” Nariko puts it in simple terms.
“His name is Vender Duss, he is the former right-hand man of Aleister Price.” Tonu explains.
“Only naughty girls call a well-intentioned gentleman a nuisance, Madam Edamura. You’ve seem to have fallen down a peg or two from what I recall you being!” Vender claps. “Now, you three, consider yourselves captured. I’ll discuss a nicer sentence for you three with my superiors if you give up now.”
You only stopped running because Tonu needed to confront these guys, but you could’ve ignored them.
