>>5779371It is a consistent thing across quests that I have read and played in. When it comes to votes about relationships or sex, it does activate the playerbase and bring out the lurkers.
My theory is that because fighting, politics, teasing Malevus and nation building are the bread and butter of this Quest, they might not always feel so exciting or vote worthy. But when more rarer stuff like this comes up, anons brains activates their almonds and that gets people to vote. So if from a playerbase of 15~ people, which to be honest is more than I expected to have and I am grateful for each and everyone of you my lovely big children, normally rotation of 5-7 people vote per update cycle, these votes activate the full playerbase instead.
And like you said, most players had more than one vote so it wasn't purely lurkers or samefags who got out of the woodwork either.
