I've mostly been trying to go for an 'episodic' feel, focusing on capturing the moments and interactions that either matter more or display the personalities of the various characters more. I tend to start second-guessing whether a scene is going on too long after a certain point, but I'll keep the feedback in mind to write those longer scenes y'all are lookin for.
I also like to keep updates at least close to daily, but longer interactions may either require more breaking points between updates (votes, rolls, etc) or a delay in posting. And sometimes I can't feasibly squeeze in a vote or a roll without it seeming ham-fisted and a little bit pointless. I MIGHT try "write-in anything else you may want to talk about", but those tend to get less responses as a whole and can be frustrating when they populate a good portion of the quest, at least from my perspective as an avid voter in other quests.
Anyways, different question for y'all: Do you prefer Original Content or Canon Content for the quest?
