"It's proper true. I've spotted them moving around that direction, then my instincts and their lack of being in the forest told me they've gone ahead and went somewhere's else." Cattleya chimed in. "They've been slipping in front of that hill where they like to stare at the mansion until roight after that second invasion you, Mel, and Gerty fended off, guv."
"Back when I was patrolling I saw a few of them." Bertha said. "But they weren't really going anywhere except away from me."
"Yeah, I remember." You recalled how Bertha went on about how she used her new abilities against the bandits.
"But the mountains are almost impossible to go through, and even less to live in." Mel added. "Remember when we went there ourselves? And when we tried to set up camp there?" Your beguiler said to the other three from Riverdale. Ruby, Bertha, and even Gerty agreed with Mel's words.
"It was difficult, but not impossible. There are mountain passes that can be used. Though they are best as a means to get down quickly." Gerty gave some further context.
"Lest one wishes to become the prey of countless perilous monsters and the elements." Rose sipped some tea. "Should those ruffians entertain notions of venturing upon those perilous mountain trails, they shall become most inviting targets." Ruby concluded.
"When the bandits had attacked the caravan I was with they came from both the mountains and the forest, both in relatively open areas Northumbridge and Vonstadt had." Ayane said. "I believe Ruby made some maps detailing the best trade routes to those towns."
"Though those places seem to be surrounded by hills, forests, and mountains on every side, I am certain that Northumbridge has a road connected to Southumbrige and its subsequent commercial harbor." Ruby said.
"I can confirm that." Mel, who was native to the port-city known as Southumbrige, corroborated your Mastermind's information. "Those two places are considered sister-towns, even though they aren't that close by. I don't know if Vonstadt has a similar thing in Eastia."
"Vonstadt is basically a fortress with how isolated it is, mate. Though there's a road that'll always be open for you and other Savants that want buy coal and mingle around, guv." Cattleya meowed, directing the last part of the sentence to you. "The town's a stone's throw from the mountains, with a couple airship docks. You can nab a ride to anywhere in Eastia to Centria and even to this place. There's a little town called Leipgart that's a little beyond the mountains there, and trading port-city called Leipgart-Pflau."
"Plah-what?" Bertha asked.
"It's a roight faff to say, and an even bigger pain to remember cause it shares the same bloody name with Leipgart." Cattleya exhaled. "Most all just call it Pflauhafen, like it's any better on the tongue."
