But whenever I saw this stock or looked at their corporate powerpoint presentations it always made me think of the Appian Way, basically if you have ever seen the TV series Spartacus / Blood On The Sand etc about Roman gladiators (there is a lot of bosoms and loincloths and nudity) you probably know about the Appian road of crucified slave corpses scenes. I have no idea why this Nasdaq company APPN chose this name I assume they did it deliberately to intimidate their competitors or something.
Presumably a good idea to recommend to a16z bullet head venture capital man
