>>6214117With promising results from down south, Queen Trude turns her attention westward, to her border with Adenai. Once this war is over, it wont be long until another, so she needs to make use of this time to fortify the border. The ramparts were bought as a defence against the Domo forces, but its doubtful they can build upon those ramparts without Adenai or Orcmanie noticing. Thus, we need to make the most of our next layer of defence, use a proper material.
>Action 1: Quarry west of Sturnes. To make the stone blocks necessary for proper walls. As brick houses become more and more common in Sturnes, the nobles ponder their use in making walls out of. Unfortunately the bricks are rather fragile individually, making walls that are easy to damage, a benefitial trait when it comes to demolishing, not so much when the demolisher is the enemy. But that just reminds the nobles they can use stone blocks. Clay bricks are limited by their need to dry, but stone just needs to be carved out in the appropriate size. Thus, a quarry is soon setup west of Sturnes, providing a material fit for castles, though also much more expensive, the bricks suited for nobles, unlike the clay bricks of commoners.
>Action 2: Rogue Camps. The Red Hoods utilize hidden encampments from which they attack. While the army is suffering hardship due to not getting to setup camp properly, their accomodations are still better than the Red Hoods, who sometimes don't even get tents to sleep in, having to fashion beddings out of grass and twigs. A consequence of needing to be constantly on the move and far less organized. Sasha decides to rectify this issue, developing a system by which the Red Hoods can create halfway decent camps behind enemy lines and conceal them. But most importantly, it allows for organizing their resources and plan attacks, the Red Hoods rely heavily on looted and recovered equipment, this results in a very uneven distribution, these camps allow her to correct this unevenness and assign Red Hoods according to their capabilities, increasing their effectiveness overall.
