>Of course, you might be the sort of soul inclined to worry and wonder. Look, this really is a lot less terror than it seems at first glance.
>You roll dice in the options field by typing dice+ydy. We use d10s, so you'd roll a lot of dice+5d10 and so on.
>In the broadest possible sense of the term, this is a turn-based action rpg with a smear of good humour and some scribbled sketches that represent your attempts at teamwork against various nefarious foes.
>You get a pool of 5 or so Stamina each turn, and 1 Stamina gets you a roll of up to 1d10 + up to 2 relevant dicepools. So you can stab a seeker with a Violence+Blades, and that might be 5d10 if you've got 2 in each. Because you get to add the Stamina, see. But don't feel constrained to the fine finite arts of murder, you can shout at people too, inspire teammates, and try to avoid falling into a pit. Most things are workable by treating them as dicepools - Authority + Blades could threaten someone by waving a sword in their face, or instruct a group of recruits.
>Of course there's fair odds you die quick. I'm told that's part of the charm.
