Joe holds one tentacle over its eyes because it's so bright but then Joe floats up into the air and stops in midair and all three of the weird things riding inside the UFO pop out from hatches in the UFO and glare at Joe and their eyes flash!

You crouch down and stick the glowing crystal into the puddle of black tar and then the puddle inflates like a balloon and Joe looks at you and blinks and then it grins at you but then Joe looks over your shoulder at the UFO floating behind you!
What? You forgot about the UFO? Suddenly the UFO's light flickers and turns green and then it shines like a spotlight across the ground and the ground explodes wherever the light shines and then the green spotlight sweeps over you and Joe and the ground explodes all around you!

When the dust clears you see Joe on top of a piece of rubble next to you and then you both look up at the UFO above you and all three of the weird things riding inside the UFO lift up their hatches and glare down at you!
