QW: "Ping Jun, have you any esoteric skill that are relevant?
PJ: - As a matter of fact, I do brought a couple Restraining Talisman. Just in case.
LY: - Those are expensive...
PJ: - Made them myself. Cut a bit the costs.
QW: - YanEr, any "Pluck the Lotus from the Pond" or anything you didn't told us about?
LY: - Sadly, no.
QW: - Here's the plan. Ping Jun, try to stuck the Crab and the Lobster in a corner.
LY: - Ah, yes, the corner of the round room.
QW: - Close to a wall. LienWen, hold the Dolphin. Try not to kill it. I'll deal with the Whale."
You split, and you adress the massive animal in the room. For now, they just wander idly. Thing changes when you start drawing your Beasttamer Restraining Formation and PingJun spin his golden Aura directly in his Talisman.
The result is janky : the restraining formation, ill-adapted, only does its job partially. Key part being "doing its job". Despite how thrashing the Plant-Animal spirit is, and how on the verge of breaking your Formation semms, you send a first bead. Which immediately crack in half, as well as a couple runes - you redraw them, attempting to tune them on the fly, it doesn't work as other parts of the formation give way. One more patching up, another bead, this time the spirit stays inside a couple seconds.
Rinse and repeat, for a handful seconds on third try (with ominous noises on the containment device), and a fourth try seemingly okay : no crack on the bead; your formation seemed to hold. You glance at your friends. Ping Jun finished blocking the two smaller spirit with his talismans. LienWen, however, seem on her toes, clutching her leg where her thigh seems encase in Ice.
>Catch the Dolphin Spirit, maybe you can do better in term of beads?
>Priorize healing LienWen YanEr while Ping Jun holds back the Dolphin Spirit.
>Kill that spirit which hurted your dear friend. Then, catch the restrained ones.
>Total Spirit annihilation. This is not worth the spiritual beads cost.
