>>5812364Since when has Karn followed his society’s “conventional” rules? He’s taken on near-certain death for his family and people more times than I want to count
>>5812373Karn being disappointed would hurt, but not as badly anymore. Not after what Future Chaya did trying to mold her into herself. Meloka, however, well…Let’s justs say her being here will be a good thing.
>>5812376Why did you delete? Now I don’t get to respond to the post.
>>5812377>hang outSince when do you go somewhere and just ‘hang out’, expecting nothing to go wrong? Especially if this place is DC Earth. And double especially since, last time you were there, you and Chilli merc’d a god.
>>5812378Just wholly abandoning her would push her further into the Sith Lord’s influence, cutting off her ties to, well humanity isn’t the right word but Saiyanity doesn’t quite roll off the tongue.
>spoilerSame.
While theoretically possible, you saw what happened to the Meloka who actually LOST her Karn. Now Chaya’s at the same stage and spiraling HARD. Meloka didn’t so much rise above as come to an agreement. For her Karn’s children, even if they’re not HER children.
>getting her to understand that she fucked up in the first place and that this won't bring Raditz back would be a good start.Maybe. Or it might completely break her. Tell me, how do most Yandere(who lose their target) react when they’re forced to face the realization that THEIR OWN actions forced them away? Are you sure you want to go down that route while she’s so…volatile?
>>5812419Yes, she’s lost in a sea of despair and denial, drowning in it. How this whole situation resolves will most certianly decide her future going forward, even moreso than her previous development with her loss. She didn’t take her title for granted, but in exchange took other things for it instead. Such as her relationships.
>This time, she'll learn to be mindful of other people and confront her inner malice just like how Meloka had to confront her own during her time with the late Guardian.Possibly, that’s one potential route forward. But she’s already gone quite a ways down a less peaceful route.
>>5812536Meloka’s come a long way.
>>5812661A Meloka Sith Lord? Would probably make a field of insanity centered on her Karn, driving everyone and everything away from him to keep him all for herself.
