As the lights of the magic died down the Knight returned to his fellows. He quickly found the Skink Tee-Nee-Tyny walking around himself to gather them all together for the seeking of the next plan. The harder to find was Adok, but when they did find the Dwarf he was enscribing into the ground all across the area.
These were all runes of different kinds that Lucian had never seen made. Each of them seemingly glowing with power as the Dwarf worked at the ground with rabid ferocity. He only stopped working on them when Lucian shook his shoulder. The look he had was like a child who had their candy taken away from them.
“Well if we gotta bother with other things lets get them done now.” Declared the Dwarf as he crossed his arms, “We know whats happening?”
“This one knows the locations of Chaos taint. In Sylvannia and Mousillon are the greatest, with other locations of interest spread across the land of Warm Bloods.” Tee-Nee-Tyny said as he licked his eye, “Locations are known, we can strike at them.”
“Mousillon looks to be the heart of the chaos which gripped Bretonnia. It is there that we must bring out blades to strike.” Lucian said firmly, “After that I imagine we will be traveling to the Empire where the worst of it has gripped the world.”
“In this one’s eyes was a vision from the Old Ones. Of a Grail so black that it corrupted all who drank from it.” He said with widening eyes, “The other, a ring which defied the logic of the very world itself.”
“Those are good things to know.” Lucian said as he glanced at the pond, “But we need to get across the seas between us and them.”
“Perhaps one of the locals can give us a boat to go over there.” Suggested Adok as a joke with a smile.
“That, or perhaps they can even get us an army.” Lucian said with a smile in response, which seemed to confuse Adok more than anything, “It would mean though that we must face Mann’s beast.”
It was then a voice came from behind, “Child of the Old ones, why don’t you speak to them of the Passages of your Forebearers?”
