It seems your fellow sea monster left his mark upon you as much as you did on him, and more than just scars. In a supernatural state the kraken still dwells in your body, at least a part of him, such that at your allowing he can reach from beyond your divine realm to interact with the world once again. In a rather painful way you can wrench your jaws open as wide as you possibly can, and then wider still, one of the kraken's tentacles will writhe its way from your stomach to out of your mouth! Such a grotesque display is not without reason however, as the tentacle can act like an extra appendage. Maybe not in the middle of combat are you going to be trying this, but in certain situation it should prove useful. Particularly because of the stretchy length of such a tentacle, it's enough to reach and grasp some twenty or thirty feet away or more, much longer reach than your own arms for sure! Strong enough to lift or pull your own weight, you could use a tentacle to latch onto something and pull yourself up or after it, and of course... grab something and pull it back to you. Not unlike one of those land dwelling frog creatures, you could choke up a tentacle as it lashes out through the water or air, latch onto some unfortunate prey and drag them right back through your mouth and down your throat with it... assuming it's something you could normally swallow, not like you can latch onto and swallow a boat!
In perhaps an even more horrific display however, you've dreamt of a disturbing possibility where by using a tentacle from within, you could latch onto and impose your will on a victim. Such as some unfortunate human, a tentacle could reach out and wrap around their head or body, and so long as you maintained this connection with them you would be able to control them like an extension of yourself. Or maybe not directly control, but overwhelmingly influence them to do your bidding. A bit cumbersome to maintain a connection like that, but perfect if you should need someone to speak on your behalf or act as a lure. All things considered, this is something that disturbs even you, but it's not like you wouldn't use a tool available to you if the need arose...
...all in all, it seems you are regaining your old strength with your successful efforts, and even without your goddess. The more powerful you grow, the better you can serve her and figure out a solution to the problem of her absence. Just from defeating the kraken alone you've increased your abilities significantly, feeding not just your physical body but your own divinity as well. So then, with all this in mind, now you feel you can finally set your sights upon the land dwellers with ample preparation.
