If lions were all dark black with purple bipedal with bones poking out at their chest and shoulders. Overall, an excellent reason to redouble her running.
The red thing nearly at the same time as the lion emerged in the clear dove in a particularly dense bush, and she followed it. Janette's guess was that it hoped the thickness of this plant life would hinder it more than them. And if the thing starting to curse nehind them was any indication, it did.
Then the swearing stopped Janette hoped it had given up, but no it had not. "Beast King Fallen Fist" it yelled, and a large chunk of foliage was torn away in some dark blast. Just a straight line of devastation cleared the path for them. Then it did it again and again.
She thought this could not be real. There is noway that this is real. How was this her life, a life where a horror genre lionman has the power to pulverize pretty sizable chunks of forest. And that shock had sadly made her stop and freeze up in disbelief even if her partners tugged at her in vain to snap her out.
The lion man found them soon after, even if the red thing was long gone. "You are not Elecmon." It was stated as a irate growl. "But at this point I will settle on deleting pretty much anything for the annoying chase they have led me on."
In response to that, Kotemon jumped them, their swords now being on fire. "Flaming Bamboo" is what they yelled. It hit, and while the dark lion clearly felt it, it wasn't hurt, just annoyed by it. In contrast, their quick swipe at Koluna with their arm and heavy kick on Selente made the two yell out in pain and fly a good distance like rag dolls.
Meanwhile, I had fallen back on my ass and was shuffling away in fear of it and the fucked up lion clearly knew what it meant. "The easy target!" It yelled and jumped at me, only to not make it all the way due to a literal lightning bolt hitting it and making it impact the ground.
"Mad Leomon you will not hurt them anymore! I accidentally led you to them, and it's my duty to clean up my own messes!" Yelled the red thing that she had followed.
Once the now named Mad Leomon got over the surprise, it laughed. "It seems you're still the same even after I beat you down enough for you to devolve into Elecmon." They then ran past the clearly hurt Selente ignoring them and scooped Elecmon up in their oversized hand in an unusual burst of speed.
