Sure, you could probably clear it out far faster than a group of this world's fighters, even higher-level dragons aren't much of a threat to you personally. Hell, yesterday your daughter even killed one that you'd injured and incapacitated, your wife having asked that you start helping her level up so she could get a head start on the other children who would be going to school here in the village. She'd explained how the elders would subdue monsters for the children to kill, as only the ones who deal the final blow are the ones whose Adventurer Cards gain the experience from the monster kills. She'd told you both one evening, as you'd all lay in bed about her own school experience here in the Crimson Demon Village, you marveling at how different your childhoods were. “Can I come too?”
“Sorry kiddo, but absolutely not.” you tell her, Meloka Wolbach pouting and crossing her arms. To which you kneel down, placing your hand on her head and ruffling her hair affectionately. “But I'll find you something interesting inside and bring it back, just for you okay?”
“Okay!” she replies with a smile, leaping forward and hugging you around the neck. “You're the best Daddy!”
“Are you sure hun?” Megumin asks.
“Of course, I'll be fine.” you reply, looking up to her with a smile. “And if I can't handle it, you know I can retreat back home whenever I need to.”
“Excellent. Then we'll need to discuss-” Kazuma starts, you holding up a hand before turning from him back to your daughter, placing your hands on her shoulders and addressing her seriously.
“I have an important job for you kiddo. Can you run ahead to Mamaw and Pop-pop's house and let them know we'll be bringing some more company?” you ask her, your daughter's eyes sparkling as you ask her this, your daughter clearly excited to be useful and important.
“I will!” she says, mirroring the salute she's seen you and your father do before running off, arms back behind her as she sprints. In just a second she's already gone from sight, you turning from the cloud of dust to see Kazuma and his group's jaws all dropped in shock.
“You know, sometimes I forget just how different Saiyans are from us humans.” Kazuma says, sounding a bit surprised before he shakes his head, turning his attention back to you. “But I'll accept your offer of hospitality, let's discuss the finer details of this mission over a meal.”
And as you lead Kazuma's party towards Megumin's parents' home, you can't help but feel a slight sense of foreboding. Something about this dungeon has you curious, but you can't shake the feeling that there's more to this mystery dungeon than anyone knows. And you're curious to find out what that is.
