Your father once impersonated the mayor, which if you may recall... is not really without precedent in Orre. However he had that position for like, months, while the big push for Aether to come in and "Revitilize" the countinent was happening.
He passed laws! Big fancy renovation laws that aether spent a lot of money "suggesting" to various people, filled with tax loopholes and allowances... and no one really noticed when he just, snipped a few punctuations here and there, changed a word's spelling...
When a law was passed that mandated that it was illegal to end recess, Roger was finally caught after a trail forced someone to actually notice.
And since no one could gurantee WHAT he changed... years of law and permits were just... undone. And Aether had to start all over.
Oh and the guy they arrested turned out not to be Roger, but a man pretending to be Roger pretending to be the mayor! He just switched them out!
That mans probbably at this school actually...
