It would be a matter of deploying the troops next. Four columns marching maybe quarter, half a league from each other, taking direction from the sun if possible through the forest canopy. There would be runners on horseback between the columns, slightly staggered to allow your Alteracis to be ahead of everyone else in the vanguard.
“Mr. Langston, can you please tell us of how we will march into war?” You asked him.
“Of course Prince Alric.” Langston said to you. “We shall follow the Internment Camps, first the one closest and then through two more before we reach the northmost camp around Durnholde.”
“Which is the camp with the pre-moved supplies?”
“Yes Prince Alric.” Langston replied and nodded.
Good, things were a lot clearer then. You knew the columns, now just to decide what was to be the direction you would enter the gnoll territory. Would you charge the gnolls directly or go for their flanks, dealing with them that way and finding their weakpoints to charge through?
>By the river, sweeping through the South Durnholde Hills into their rear
>Past the farms securing them and then into gnoll held territory
>Straight into their midst, bring the battle to them and take the victory to humans
>Right flank, past the mountains and cut off their route of escape before striking into them
QM: Got the update out, rather simple one, but I think you have the necessary information to make the decision.
