The wave of destruction that was the Mechanicum continued to make its way through the Mitu Collective’s space as they traveled in a rough direction towards Lucius. It could easily be described as rough as they made several changes, stops, and even u-turns in order to keep the Mitu wondering what they were doing.
They approached their exit point with the rough precision that could only be given to such travel. Even with their growing understanding of the Warp they were never able to fully navigate its space with good precision and accuracy.
This was not at the top of TalOS’s mind.
+They will be upon us soon.+ TalOS declared as he sat upon the command throne of the Onus Probandi.
+What algorithm did you use to determine that?+ A Magos who was sort of a second in command of the ship spoke up.
+Three days ago we have reached the point initial predictions claimed they would have set a fleet to meet us.+ TalOS declared as he narrowed his eyes closely, +We are coming near the margin of error of 95%, which to me is something a skilled Xenos Admiral would never allow to happen. With that logic, and the knowledge that with every ship that has escaped means they learn more about us, they will launch some kind of assault when we leave.+
The Magos who received the information processed the thought process within his mind and pondered upon a great many points. The Magos, as anyone with that status, had started to understand TalOS’s thought process.
Finally he gave a nod, +I understand, Arch Dominus. Your logic fits someone of your caliber. I shall send out a signal to have the weapons began warming themselves up when we arrive in system. Though how do you think they knew we would arrive there, the Xenos show no ability to calibrate with random numerical generation.+
+We will find out when we fight them.+ TalOS answered as he stood up, +it is almost time.+
+We are indeed breaking upon the last minute in our travel through the Warp.+ The Magos said as he returned to his station.
