When Cattleya found a break in between organizing the storage room, she'd tried to look for her father while it was her turn using the Orb. However, despite looking into all the places he might've been held, her attempts were mostly fruitless. To her frustration, she'd tried to do this a few more times but it didn't seem like she was getting any luck.
You decided to give it a shot. While it was a bit hard to look into places you'd never seen before for a person you never met, you managed to get a general idea on where Rostchilde's so-called 'penal systems' were located. You found the reason Cattleya was having so little luck; her dad was constantly being transferred from one place to another towards unknown penal systems.
This made you curious about seeing what Forthwythe was doing, but a quick look inside Riverdale's castle made you regret it after seeing that fat old bastard gorging himself with food while half naked.
You decided right then and there that you'd used up enough time with the Orb (those little visions took more than an hour of your time).
And you wanted to show the place around to Aila.
Your elf was looking around in amazement at the elevators and other automation, and immediate started gushing about magical theory and how these feats of engineering could apply to it.
Just as you were about to give Aila a more comprehensive tour of the place, Gerty came by and spoke to you.
"Sir!" Gerty said.
"What is it?" You nearly glared at her.
"The second phase of the Monster Room extermination is ready to be enacted." She proudly declared. "While I've strategized enough to ensure that the mixed company of clankers will be enough to fully eliminate the threat, I humbly request your presence within the BoatMech to oversee the plans, sir!"
"Monster Rooms?" Aila repeated.
You and Gerty gave a brief explanation to clarify things.
"Monster Rooms on the surface, mountain ranges, and forests..." Aila summarized. "This really is like a frontier wilderness."
While Aila said she wouldn't mind if you took her along, naturally being curious about the BoatMech, you weren't sure if you wanted to focus on giving her a tour of the place instead.
"I wouldn't be against going with you, Master." Aila said. "But if you want to keep showing me around the place, I'm fine with that as well!"
"Sir, forgive me for my lack of tact!" Gerty exclaimed, ready to get another verbal lashing from you.
You were more than obliged to give it to her. But that still left you with what you wanted to do.
>You'll go there, and bring Aila along with you in the BoatMech. It should be safe from there.
>No, Gerty can do it alone. You knew she was skilled in these matters.
>Have Gerty postpone it for another day when it wouldn't get in the way of a day Aila was staying or when the festivity that was being planned happened.
