When you and Cindy approached the front door, you noticed that the bouncer was a different vampire. They weren’t nearly as big as the last, but they carried themselves with the dignity and poise of a seasoned fighter and a trained killer. His red, piercing gaze washed over you and your companion, and his body seemed to tense for a moment. But instead of attacking, he simply stepped aside, opened the door, and gestured for you to enter with a slight sneer.
Another vampire, one you couldn’t completely see in the dimly lit halls, led you through the winding, maze-like corridors, until you ended up at another metal door. Rhythmic music and pulsating lights seeped through the cracks, and you could sense the presence of yet more dangerous creatures in the room beyond. Creatures that sensed you coming already. Creatures that could smell your sweat, hear your heartbeat, taste your fear.
You could never get over this part. The waiting. The not knowing whether you would be ambushed from behind, or dog-piled as soon as you dared to enter their territory. Strangely enough, having Cindy by your side seemed to erase some of your worries. Her family were friends of Morbius, and she was likely the only reason you got through the front door without excessive violence.
A quick glance in her direction told you that she wasn’t terribly worried, and you felt a bit silly for letting your fears get the best of you.
However, that thought was immediately blown away when the door slid open with a creak, revealing a dark, dimly lit room, with glowing eyes and glinting fangs flashing with malice and hunger. It was then that you were realizing that you were feeling a completely healthy and normal amount of fear.
“Huntsman. It is good to see that you are well. The same goes for you, Miss Moon.” said a familiar voice from deeper within the room. Just the sound of it made most of the others stop hissing almost immediately. “To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?”
What will you say?
>”I’m hunting for something dangerous. And I needed to know if you had any tips on tracking down supernatural creatures.”>”Can’t a guy just drop by and check up on his friends every once in a while? Why do you assume that I want something?”>”I need to see you in your office for a sec. It’s about someone we both know. A specialist. I might want to hire him sometime soon.”>”You sure rebuilt fast. Labor costs must be different for the living dead.">"Have you noticed any movement from the rogue vampires' forces, lately?">Write-in.Pastebins:
