>>5363360You don't remember the exact moment you blacked out, but, like most of the other times you've gone to feed, you find yourself awake on the ocean floor. From how dark it is beneath the waves, you can't exactly tell what time it is, but, once you swim up to the surface, you find that the edge of the sky is set in an orange glow as the first flecks of sunlight cast themselves upon the horizon. It's a little disconcerting to see the sky at such an odd hour, because you'd usually be dead to the world long into the hours of the morning, but perhaps even your inner-predator knows that your stomach has a limit and decided to call it quits early.
On the other end of the sky, however, you see large clouds gathering into large, whitened puffs like marshmallows-- a sure sign that a rainstorm's going to happen-- and you think Konigsburg is long-overdue for a storm of some sort after the majority of the summer had been relatively dry.
You swim back home with the pleasant feeling of fullness in your gut, the sweet aftertaste of your meal lingering like echoes.

Your day of reckoning comes not even a day later, the sound of rain pitter-pattering against your windowpane.
Recalling John's words, you knew it was going to happen within the next few days from your conversation, but, when Matt bobs his head out of his room with a face more serious than you've seen in a while, you get the feeling that the Anti-Maranzano convoy is well-on-their-way to New York.
Eddie's program had been finished a night or two before; now you have a copy of it stored on a USB that you'll carry with you. Bernard had already left to bring the Healer and Boleski to the warehouse, leaving you and Matt to get your own selves ready to go.
You don't know what you were expecting from Matt's new suit, but, where his old suit was made out of a thick sort of fabric that made moving in the summer heat nigh-unbearable, Matt's new suit is far more streamlined than his old one, appearing to be far more moveable and breathable overall.
It tells you that Jenna both improved in her suit-making and put a lot of thought into the new design. Quite frankly, you're really impressed, enough that you can't wait to see what she made for Bernard.
