>>5353113>We need to grow with him.>"Our Father was pleased with what he found, but he isn't even satisfied with his own. He wishes for more, for all of us to grow, as is his nature. He is open about his feelings"My two bits:
#1 Talos is quite pleased with what the 2nd's space marines had been when we found them:
-Born with inherent rage, yet so disciplined that they controlled it without data-vaults
-Aggressive warriors. We need that.
-Incendiary gas weapons
-Even some vestiges of Technobarbarianism
-Most of all they willingly bent the knee and are learning to embrace the Cult Mechanicus, and they are working with the Acillians
#2 Talos readily gives Q/A with his sons, constructive feedback, and always the saying "if you have a problem bring it to me, please don't hide it". If we're displeased with our sons they would know, if we are happy with our sons, they would know.
With the tools they were given prior to our arrival, they have performed as well as they could, and we do not shy away from commending them for it.
But Talos can be summarized by this simple phrase: "I have a gigantic to-do list, and only so much time" There is boundless opportunity for growth on all fronts, reorganization, development, improvement. Such are the ways of technology and the machine, to continually advance and improve.
We embrace Vadaar as a son regained, who had done his duty well. Now we welcome him into the great race into the glorious future that will be the Mechanicum at its full glory.
