+We have acquired three hundred seventy five thousand four hundred and sixty three xenos in total.+ Answered Dux Dominus H3VST as he gave TalOS the report, +Our reserves from the recycled xenos have resulted in a net positive for rations however and will mean we will have enough food for when we arrive in the Mezoan Region.+
TalOS nodded as he heard the report, +And the war situation?+
The Dux Dominus nodded as he placed a hand on the display. Unlike the maps of the xenos regions this one was by far the most accurate that could be created. Within the map’s back data was a variety of political entities, logistical fleets, and a near perfect simulation of the current war in the North East.
It was a work of art in data mining and reasoning. It required the dual attention of both the Acillians and the Tech Priests to make such a thing. The Acillians would extract the information from the minds of the Xenos while the Tech Priests would fashion what are thousands of memories together into a cohesive masterpiece.
Neither could have done it alone. That was a fact.
+The Xenos have already noticed our presence but had previously written us off as a lowly band of pirates. It was when we eliminated the Xenos known as Admiral Kthesar’ Kik that they escalated our threat level.+ The Dux Dominus confirmed TalOS’s previous observations when he moved the screen, +They were in the middle of trying to figure out our origin. Their thought process was that if they could find out where we originate they would not need to place so much military might into smashing our fleet.+
+I would have done the same.+ TalOS admitted as he reviewed the information the Xenos had at the time, +And their running theory was that we are… refugees from the North?+
The Dux Dominus nodded to the sincere confusion of TalOS, +They seem to think that we ran into the Plastoid’s space and continued our path down from there. They have rightfully deduced that the South is mostly a gulf of nothingness to us and theorized we have from one of the worlds that we recently incorporated.+
+Will they attempt to cross into Plastoid Space?+
The Dux Dominus invoked one of the materials that TalOS had already read, +In this report it seems the Xenos were actively monitoring the Plastoids for signs of expansion. They have readings from when they attacked Lucius and we attacked them back before going dead. Even our use of Warp-Transit does not match the ambient psychic power the xenos generated.+
+So they are realizing the Xenos are dead.+
The Dux Dominus nodded, +They will likely find your previously laid trap and follow it up with a fleet, but they will find Lucius. But, thanks to our recent actions, they might just make their way into this region.+
