Mid-run, you activate f1oat.app and leap towards the ceiling, making use of the temporary weightlessness to pass over your teammates' heads without blocking their path. You kick off the surface and change direction, facing the two battling Champions once more. Phascomon jumps off and lands on all fours, already making a beeline towards the enemy's ankles. No words pass between the both of you. You're in sync once again.
"What are you doing?!" Bella calls.
"Don't slow down! We'll catch up!"
Liza doesn't obey. She pauses to watch, conflict visible in her every motion as her partner fights. She wants to come help him, but doesn't have the means. You manage to yell at her and snap her out of her stupor.
"He's buying you time. Stop wasting it already, go!"
"But what about you?"
"JUST RUN!"
You turn back and whip out your freeze code, not bothering to see if she follows. Phascomon has already sunk his claws into the back of Gorimon's knee, paralyzing it with his eucalyptus venom. The Digimon howls and beats at his chest, before his leg buckles underneath him. He aims his cannon backwards to try and blast Phascomon, but Leomon interrupts it with a savage kick to the chin. His body arcs backwards, bent nearly in half from the uppercut.
You finish up the combo by launching the packet of info, staunchly freezing Gorimon. You didn't expect it to work so well on a Champion, but he must have been weakened by the viral attack on his system, opening him up to further damage. Leomon pulls out his sword for the second time, spearing through Gorimon's chest and into the floor. The lion carves upwards for good measure, tearing through his head and shoulders before the freeze even runs out. Then he lunges towards you, only pausing to scoop Phascomon up in one giant paw.
Leomon seizes you as gently as he can, still knocking the wind out of your lungs in the process. He sprints down the hall in pursuit of your teammates, until you see them right around a corner. It paid off. You were able to end Gorimon quickly enough to hit net-zero time expenditure.

<span class="mu-s">"That Digivolution did a real number on your speech, eh? You're welcome."</span> Says Phascomon, smugly turning up his nose. He flicks his claws free of scrap data as the freeze runs out behind you, signaling the death of the marauding Beast Man.
