Plasma crackled as laserfire filled the air with light and fury. So many of the Horde who had gathered at the Manifestation of evil incarnate found their flesh burnt from their bodies and their souls eaten by the Titans as fuel for their guns. Indeed simply firing these weapons were enough to bring about the devastation of entire worlds and now they were all erupting upon the surface of Mars itself.
Many of these attacks had gone into Particep Semper. Just as the True Avatar of the Machine God had tested the shielding of the Diez Ire these Titans wished to see if the Imperator was indeed on the standard of the divine. Each attack against the shields of Particep Semper flared with a cracking green as the impacts were dissipated through simple reality distortions that were far greater in scale to what Void Shields were capable of. Thusly these attacks did not pierce the Titan, and instead gave the side of Particep Semper another chance to fire against those that followed Chaos.
Stadning their ground guns rang across the earth with blinding fury and event. Martian sands were turned into red glass as the Loyalists tried to keep alive their part of the cause. None who served the Omnissiah had heard a word from the divine being but they could feel his orders as if he was a part of them. Their weapons were trained with concentration at one of the many Warlords which had followed Diez Ire into the battle and quickly punched through the shielding of the Metalic Construct.
Blood turned into a black fire as it sprayed across the field in a fountain. Such a brilliant display of fury and carnage was lost as the Titans of the Omnissiah’s Legion found themselves Counter Batteried by the advancing forces of the Diez Ire. The shots of this force were wide and wild as many of them might have simply enjoyed firing the weapons but a few Princeps suspected another truth to that matter.
Indeed, as shields dropped and parts of their Titans were scorched they realized that the vast majority of the Diez Ire’s cohort were equipped in some manner with melee weapons. Such a gross overuse of such weapons by the standards of a normal Legion, whatever had gripped these forces had caused them to gain what might have been a literal thirst for blood.
As the forces approached, the moment had come.
>Teleport a bunch of Knights
>Jumpacks, bitches
>They came from below
