As tempting as it may be to join the boss battle event for the loot and exp, the idea of getting one-shot by a much higher level enemy doesn't sound like a great way to kick off his and Cassie's first ten minutes in the game. His eyes are drawn again to the sevcen dots fighting it out further west. The five dots are trying to close in, but are ebbing and flowing as one of the green dots seem to be fending them off fiercely. The second green dot hasn't moved much, maybe it's been downed?
Curiosity gets the better of Alex, and he tilts the control stick as he begins making his way towards the battle. It would be interesting to see how PvP matches in this game unfold first hand, and these guys are nice enough to give them front row seats. It doesn't take long to reach the edge of the battle ground, with flight making it easy to traverse long distances. They watch right from the edge of where the game might consider them additional participants, now having a much better view of the intense fighting.
The combatants are clear to see now. The two green dots are piloting what looks to be a ball with legs, and a GM that looks similar to yours, but with plenty of modifications and two large shields on both arms. The ball is mostly immobilized with three crippled legs shot to hell, but it's trying to crawl to cover with its last functioning leg while trying to provide its partner with some covering fire from the rotating cannon atop its head. The other GM is also heavily damaged, and they seem to be having problems with their thrusters as they're using it sparingly and in short bursts. It uses one of these short bursts to dodge a heavy swing from a Duel Gundam with a large sword, and the GM follows up by raising its two large shields and spraying the Duel with bullets from its shield vulcans.
