>>5609642"So what are we looking at for his protection?" Angela asks. "You got any leads?"
"Marielitos," Claire says, taping some grainy photocopies of polaroids to the whiteboard. "Suarez and his boys. Looks like they're with the Syndicate too."
"We got a list of enemies that gets longer every week," Angela says with a scowl, looking at the map of the city.
"This will be tough," Claire says. "Suarez has brought out some of his best for this job. These are seasoned killers, brought here directly from Cuba's worst prisons. Most of them have multiple murders to their name before they even reach America."
"Means there's likely a bounty," Angela says. "Good news for us."
"I guess that's a silver lining." Claire sounds less than enthusiastic. "Empress told me she's looking into details on Suarez and his top lieutenants. Should be hearing back from her soon. Hopefully some advance intel can give us an edge."
"As for me," Claire says. "I'm worried about how there's only one way in and out on the ground. The crew could get boxed in by the cops on the way out."
"We can hire Ace and his boys, along with a couple of big, fast boats," Angela says. "They know how to handle themselves on the water. The crew can evacuate at the end of the pier."
"That should work," Claire says. "Their boats won't be as fast as yours, but if you can at least tail Spider on the water and see where he goes, we can send the crew after him."
"Won't need to," Angela says. Her voice is as tough as iron. "He won't get away from me this time."
