>>5368436>>5368398>>5368325>>5368139>After all that has happened, you feel you ought to get back to the sea. Though you don't want or need everyone with you, and should probably lose some dead weight so to speak. It may be a bit disappointing that you didn't find a worshiper in Zahra, however you count your blessings in your conversation with her, for a solid lead or lifeline in the present-day as far as your goddess is concerned. There may be some extant, probably secret worshipers out there, and even individual inquirers who would invoke your name or that of your mother. You need only listen.
<span class="mu-b">"How about this little woman, how about you come with me? I have seen your land, would you care to see my ocean? <span class="mu-i">My</span> ocean... you may have heard of Atlantis, that place beneath."</span> you rise to standing, satisfied by your conversation with her yet taken by a curious mood, to invite her with you on the fly. <span class="mu-b">"The act of a demigod on behalf of a tangible goddess. To measure your faith against fact."</span>
<span class="mu-s">"...d-do I have a choice?"</span>
For just a fleeting moment you notice the surprise, the disbelief at your offer, something of that magnitude. However the greater emotion in her, fear, comes to dominate her decision process.
<span class="mu-b">"Of course! I may be a monster, but I'm not some monster!"</span>
Unfortunately you don't really need her answer, you know what it will be and she knows that you know. Still, it was worth an offer as you give a defeated sigh. Lifting her up then, you walk Zahra across the moonlit beach and back to her comrades.
<span class="mu-b">"Well, I suppose I'll just have to take someone who <span class="mu-i">can</span> appreciate my offer!"</span> you proclaim with a grin and grab Faysal before he has a chance to react, though he does of course panic and struggle to resist you.
<span class="mu-s">"Leave him be kirsh!"</span>
<span class="mu-s">"N-No you can't!"</span>
His knightly companion struggles to try and rise to fight you again, in defense of his liege, and Zahra grabs your leg in desperate plea. You rebuff the both of them though, shoving her into the wounded man to help and continue healing him.
<span class="mu-b">"I can't?"</span> you speak in such a powerful voice to stagger them over, <span class="mu-b">"I could have killed him, and the result would be the same. This man challenged me, I defeated him and his life is mine..."</span> you stomp past them towards the surf with your new royal pet, and though they still try to pursue or stop you, what can they do really? <span class="mu-b">"...but don't worry. I may return him some day, just listen to the sea."</span>
All that remains then is everyone's original reason for being here, Ubaid. He should be able to take care of himself now, and can help Faysal's retainers return to town, decide what to do with them next. Stopping by the man at the shoreline, he hands you the maps you wanted.
