>crude spikeYou nod your head and follow Se-young Kim down the dimly lit hallway. As you walk, she continues to speak. "You know, most students are naturally turned off by the idea of exploring these abandoned hallways. They're scared of what they might find. But you, you seem to be both stupid and daring."
You raise an eyebrow at her insult, but don't say anything. You're too curious about where she's taking you. Se-young leads you to a safer part of the school: a large storage room filled with old desks and chairs, but no longer in use. "This is where you can find what you need," she says, gesturing around the room. "And this place is much safer than where we were previously."
You work to break down an old desk, but realize that the wooden material is not suitable to make a shield. The resulting shield is heavy and impractical to carry around. However, you don't give up just yet. With one of the desk feet, you fashion a spike for boar hunting. You carefully use your knife to carve and shape the wood, creating a sharp point that can be used for hunting. Though the wood is not very strong or durable, it seems better than nothing.
While you're working, she watches you intently. "You know," she says, "I normally hate the boys around here. But you're not half bad."
You smile, pleased to have earned her respect. "Thanks," you reply.
As you both continue to spend time together, she decides to take you to the student council room. Again, she leads you through the hallways and to the room in question. Immediately, you are struck by the sheer beauty of the space. The room is decorated in rich, warm colors, with plush chairs and elegant wood paneling on the walls. There is a large desk in the center of the room, and on the wall behind it hangs the head of an animal appropriate to the region -- a majestic Alpine ibex with impressive horns.
As you take in the stunning surroundings, she smiles at your reaction. "Pretty impressive, right?" she asks. "This is where all the big decisions get made."
You nod, impressed by the sophistication and elegance of the room. "It's gorgeous," you say.
"I've worked hard to get here," she say, a hint of pride in her voice. "I'm quite daring myself, you know. That's how I lifted myself to the head of the student council."
"I'm sure you've accomplished a lot here."
"You know, you're lucky I followed you. That area is really dangerous."
As you're about to leave, Se-young stops you. "Hey, wait a minute. I've got an idea. Why don't I show you around the rest of the school? I know all the secret places that no one else knows about."
