Katie tries to hand the fake mon license back to you but you shake your head and push it back into her hand.
"Will you tell them?"
"The police?" Katie glances at Cliff and Terrabull. "Sure, let's go now." You and Katie walk back toward the police station and Katie walks up to the door. When she goes inside you peek through the open crack and watch her walk through the <span class="mu-r">mon detector</span> and up to the counter where the policeman is sitting.
When the policeman notices Katie, he looks over the counter at her. "Need something, kid?"
"Well, y'see," Katie holds the fake mon license out to the policeman. "This here's a fake mon license for a Psykid y'all got back there. The fella who had it wasn't supposed to. "
The policeman takes the fake mon license and looks at it carefully and says "Hey, you're right! This is a forgery!" He looks up at Katie. "Where'd you get this?"
Katie glances at you and then back at the policeman behind the counter. "You gonna let her out?"
"Her?" The other policeman you saw before walks out from the back room toward the counter.
"This kid brought in the license for that human-type mon. It's a fake."
"A fake?" The other policeman looks at the mon license and then looks at the other policeman. "What're we supposed to do about it?"
"Let's see what <span class="mu-r">the book</span> says." The policeman reaches under the counter and brings out a <span class="mu-r">big book</span> and starts flipping through the pages for a few moments and then he starts reading out loud. "Unclaimed mons are supposed to be sold at a <span class="mu-r">mon auction</span>... we're supposed to post notices about the auction..."
The other policeman looks at Katie. "Sounds like a lot of work... and this kid is right here..."
"She seems honest..." He looks at Katie and says "And you say you know where this mon is supposed to be?"
Katie is nodding her head! "Sure do! She's a friend of a friend."
The two policemen look at each other again. "Might as well give her <span class="mu-r">the mon crate</span>." He looks at Katie and says "Go on outside around the back of the building and we'll bring it out."
Katie can't believe it! She glances back at you and then looks over the counter at the policeman. "Thanks, mister!" Katie walks back through the mon detector and opens the door and grins at you and whispers "Did you hear that?"
You're nodding your head!
"Yeah!"
The two policemen carry the crate outside and then one of the policemen unlocks the mon crate with a <span class="mu-r">master key</span>. "You kids got it from here?"
You and Katie nod and then the policemen go back inside and you open Psykid's mon crate!

As soon as you open the crate, Psykid jumps out and runs away as quickly as she can!
What? Psykid ran away without even saying anything?
