That's when the second wave hits. A wave of gore and giblets splatters across your group. You had pink-orange hair before but not anymore! Pure, blood red now! Everyone else is coated in so much human filth that you can hardly tell the blood-red silhouettes apart.
Severed arms and legs splatter across the walls and floor of the expansive warehouse. Some even manage to land on the platform you're on. They're still squirming despite being blown off. Red trails run down the walls as if the walls were weeping blood.
The horde is in a fucking frenzy now but there's not much they can do. Large chunks of stone are falling from the ceiling. They smash aimlessly into the crowd with the same impact as meteors. The noise, oh god, the noise. A horrific mix of bloody gargles, screaming and deranged laughter.
Your group can only watch on in morbid fascination and, to be honest, <span class="mu-g">grim delight.</span>

To your shock, three of the REVENANTS were launched right onto your platform. Their bodies are mangled messes but they're still alive. They quickly get back to a standing position so they can fight you head on.
Anderson springs into action before anyone can even react. His body twists and turns into a very painful looking martial stance - Whatever he's doing, it's loosening his joints up a LOT. "FLYING AXE KICK!"
He swings his leg up before bringing the heel of his foot down HARD on the closest REVENANT to him. The force of it is enough to slice a gash right down the REVENANT'S mangled body. It drops dead like that.
The other two try to surround him but he quickly adjusts his stance to a receding one to gain some distance from them. "GOAT KICK!" He swings his leg around and slams the sole of his boot right into another REVENANT's gut. The fucker is sent flying off of the platform.
Lex moves in to deal with the last one. While Anderson is doing all of his fancy materials arts, he just smashes the palms of his hands against the remaining REVENANT'S head. It is crushed like a grape but the REVENANT refuses to die that easily.
It slams its fist HARD into Lex!

He grabs the REVENANT by its remaining arm and rips it off then and there. Only then does the REVENANT drop to the floor. Brutish when compared to Anderson's stunts but effective.
You don't really have time to ask why the fuck he used martial arts instead of a gun or his rapier. The platform you're on is starting to creak. The warehouse is barely holding itself together.
"MOVE! I THINK THE HALLWAY'S GONNA COLLAPSE!" Otto yells out. You can see dust and bits of metal flooding the only exit outta here.
"TIME ACCELERATION!" Maruyama pulls out his katana and begins to speed up your group's personal sense of time.
