I wonder since this is 30k and we are the very wealthy Federation, down the line we could tweak some strategems and rules to be a little bit better than our 40k counterparts. To represent Talos investments into improving the weapons and supplies of his men. Kinda Solar Auxilia are better and have special rules over an equal size 40k IG. Normally Skitarii can only use Galvanics as their primary squad weapon (no more than 3 special weapons for a squad of 9 skitarii or less, or 1 special weapon for a squad of 10 or more skitarii).
Imagine if we could arm, at least our elite skitarii we assign to UZ1, with Transuranic Arquebuses instead of Galvanics! Or at least maybe our "Talosian Galvanic Volley" works at long range (exactly like Tau's "Relenteless Fusilade" strategem)
Still if QM prefers to stay purely to 40k rules I'm cool with that too. As much as I would like our boys to be kitted out with as much drip and bling as possible, volley fire is cool.
But reliance on our emphasis on Void Supremacy and Machine God blessed accuracy is better!
