You stand fast, backing away calmly from the fire as one of your blood should. Thricely so, as you walk the Road of Kings. You are better than the Low Clans, cowering before a fire, even as a city falls to siege around you.
Fixing your cloak, you resume your stream of thought. Escape. Ancient contingencies lie beneath the city, where some of your clan dwell and sleep their days away. You find a nearby entrance to the necropolis, curling up your nose at the thought of vermin running about you in the darkness. You navigate down, down, down, old sconces and the moon lighting your way. It reeks of stagnation, soil, and runoff. You pass a few cisterns, the smell making you clutch your hand around your face. You gag, thanking the higher powers you aren’t in the sewers proper, swimming in filth with rats and Nosferatu.
You stand at an intersection of the necropolis. Two propped up steel coffins to the left, one to the right, and one hanging by shining chains above. This is it. They all lead out of the city, depositing you miles away. Each path tests if you are a Childe of Caine, but it is not as simple as dribbling a bit of blood and going along your merry way. Those gifts must be used.
On the left is the simplest. A slab of bloodstone, impenetrable to all tools, weapons and Disciplines, must be lifted for you to pass under it. You recall the tale that it was brought here by a Cainite after the Flood, the stone either from the Second or First City, you cannot recall precisely.
The middle path, with its hanging coffin to greet you, eventually leads to what is bluntly dubbed a talking door. It apparently requires the proper etiquette and a good conversation for it to open for a Cainite.
The right hand path calls for one with good memory and logic. Glyphs and sigils must be memorized, formulae hashed out, and an answer provided to the stones.
Which path will you choose?
>Left will require a Physical roll
>Middle will require a Social roll
>Right will require a Mental roll
>We will now vote on Attributes and how they are allocated in terms of modifiers. Primary will grant a +30, Secondary a +20, and Tertiary a +10. Note that we will be using a d100 system, similar to the Rage Across Pennsylvania quest. More rolling details will be coming soon.
>You will get two votes for this round - one for her Primary and one for her Secondary. The Attribute with the most votes will become Primary, second place Secondary, and last place Tertiary. The Primary Attribute will then decide which path we take.
>Attributes (Choose 2)
>Physical
>Social
