“It is not a matter of them being welcome or not. The focus instead should be on getting all of them back to their home universe.” Shin replies.
“That’s going to be a bit of a problem…” Videl mutters.
“Okay then, do you have any ideas on how they DID get here then? Because… this sounds rather suspect.” You cross your arms, adding, “Maybe… that attack on our allies and family could have something to do with that? Towa could have-” You stop and look at Shin closer. Oh. OH. Your arms lower as you start to focus on sensing his Ki better. “…broken something important.”
“It is entirely possible.” the person claiming to be “Shin” replies. It’s… CLOSE, but there’s something off about it. “Which is all the more reason for us to find a way to put it all back together.”
“Doesn’t seem fair to me.” Raditz grunts. “Sure some are going to want to return, but what about those that don’t?”
You keep sensing, and notice that “Kibito” has been oddly quiet and… lifeless. There’s a glaze in his eyes, like he’s one moment away from staring off into space. “…A system of celestial bureaucracy could help with this, don’t you think? You could get in contact with their Supreme Kai and work the details out.”
Mentioning that does get Eagalia asking, “Where is Lord Eyre anyway? If you met with him, surely he would want to come here to see things for himself.”
There’s an odd look in “Shin’s” eyes for a brief moment, and then he replies, “My apologies, he is quite busy at the moment, something that may require intervention on his part.”
“Well, Peppa brought up a good few points there. We need to find if there’s actually something about the universe that Towa… well, broke, and then we can worry about trying to send home those that want to return to that universe.” Mom rubs her chin. “Hmm… it might be a long shot, and we aren’t sure if such a task can be handled, but maybe we can check in with the Namekians to see if they can help? The Dragon Balls could be just what they need.”
“Shin’s” smile grows a slight bit darker, with him getting ever so slightly closer to Kibito, as Eagalia looks to her quizzically. “Their system has one of those legendary wish orbs?” the bird-bot lady asks.
“Eh? They have the full set.” she responds. “Wait, how do you know what the Dragon Balls are?”
“An excellent suggestion, Son Maple.” “Shin” says.
Mom’s eyes widen slightly as her head turns. “…Pardon?”
