>>5600324>>5600445Well, it's stable and it's deep with a great big chasm you can use as a security feature.
First thing's first though, you need a way across that chasm.
And for that, you're going to need to make a platform that fits across the chasm blocking access to the larger back cave.
You tie a rock to the end of your rope and throw it across, before marking your end and pulling it back before measuring the length of rope you pull back.
When you pace it out, it's roughly three metres long, meaning you're going to need to make this thing pretty sturdy.
Fortunately, Syurm's demonstrated a real knack for building stuff, so you let her out and see what she has to say on the matter after letting out Latias to help her inspect the chasm.
When she comes back and after a bit of pantomime, you've got a bit of a shopping list of stuff you need:
First, you're going to need wood to build the platform and reinforce it.
Then, you're going to need to make mid-point supports for the platform.
Going by the little miniature Syurm weaves, she also wants to put in uprights and braces across the ceiling of the cave, which is reasonable and your first instinct as well, but you're going to need a whole-ass tree or two at this rate, even if they are saplings. Given how rough it is here, you doubt anyone will care or notice, but that's still an awful lot of work, considering you only have a hatchet and Checkers knowing Cut to work with.
