>>6309344I don't know what I'm talking about, but here is my suggestion.
Red boxes ranged units continue to fire against opposing ranged units to pin them in position. Probably ineffectual fire for both units.
Orange units all fire on the enemy infantry near the bridge, but using elevation to focus on the rear troops (to minimise friendly fire). Don't reposition any of our troops to expose them. If they can't then get them to focus on enemy ranged.
The blue ranged and saker can continue to attack the enemy ranged units
Overall idea is to pin the enemy ranged troops in place, but also try to decimate the infantry on the bridge.
If we are successful, then NEXT TURN it could be possible to rush some troops across (I have doubts about this, since there are 3 mounted units, 1 giant unit and so many more troops across the river). But still, it could be an option if we clear out the 5 units on the bridge.
Alternatively NEXT TURN we could move the top 4 ranged units away from the river to face the incoming giants (along with our mounted reserve units).
We successfully used ranged against the giants before with our knights, so I just think that this turn we need to kill the enemy on the bridge so we can re-purpose our northern ranged units for a few turns).
