"Can't a Vaccine-type do it?"
<span class="mu-b"><span class="mu-s">"Not unless you're an environmental object! Squid, is there any way she could become one?"</span></span>
You give him a bemused look, thinking it's some kind of strange joke. Squid, however, starts mumbling about possibilities and metadata.
"Let's see... Model out a human body, force reset... create an entry... What kind of object would we need to mod as the base?"
<span class="mu-b"><span class="mu-s">"Mannequin?"</span></span>
"Yeah, we can have her create a fashion mannequin and then copy its furniture data onto her, do a conversion."
<span class="mu-b"><span class="mu-s">"Have you written a conversion program before? I don't remember."</span></span>
"Never. Oh! We could-"
You hold your palm out, feeling extremely lost.
"Wait, wait, what's this idea supposed to be?"
"We could make a Digimon reset you like a furniture item! But that's risky, I don't think that's supposed to be done, ever. It's just theoretical, even a Vaccine-attribute who's skilled in it might cause insane damage to your data if the adapter code has errors. Humans have a lot more to their data than a mannequin, even if it's based off your shape exactly."
"I don't want it THAT badly. Any other ideas?"
<span class="mu-b"><span class="mu-s">"We could locate a Digimon directly, see if we can find a kind that's experienced in repairing data for itself and others!"</span></span>
"That sounds a lot more sensible. How do we find one?"
"That's IF you find one, sure! But we don't have a healer like that on our team. Sorry Marnie..."
She deflates into the chair, and the two floppy hair extensions on either side of her head sadly sag.
