>>6155121Wait, you have realized what these three have in common! They all *actually* and *factually* did the crimes they are accused of! They’re not innocent at all! Barely morally gray! How can these guys be in the same prison as the others?!
“How old-fashioned.” Dunja is NOT impressed.
“You can’t say that without sharing a glance of it, young blood!” Wigmar chuckles.
“I’m not going to.” Darwin refuses instantly. “I will dig it out with my own bare hands all alone if I have to.”
You notice a pattern here… They’re going to be all alone for the most part.
“Why don’t you guys join the other groups instead of being a bunch of odd ducklings?” You ask them directly.
“It puzzles me the sense of camaraderie that is developing in all of them. We have nothing in common. We didn’t know each other previous to the escape. It’s nonsense.” Dunja dryly retorts.
“I wouldn’t go that far, it’s the life experiences that makes us bond…” Wigmar sighs. “Answering your question, lad. I wanted a moment to myself, in truth. To quietly watch the sky… But now, yes, I’ll join the other men as long as these two have somewhere to go.”
“Thank you, but I don’t need your pity, old man.” Dunja raises an eyebrow.
“True, I recall you having a pleasant time with them before. What happened?” Wigmar jokes.
“Nothing.” Dunja is confused.
“Then go back.” Wigmar pushes her to do it.
“I might if the timing is right.” Dunja responds in a way to make Wigmar stop bugging her.
“Want me to go with you?” You ask like she’s a child in daycare.
“That won’t be necessary. I’ll be going on my own as long as this gentleman over here isn’t left alone.” Dunja gets cheeky and uses Darwin’s indifference to her favor.
“...I’m joining the guys.” Darwin stands up and leaves just to fuck with Dunja. What a menace.
“…” Dunja is speechless.
“That settles it. It was a pleasant talk, young man. If you find me available, you’ll find me useful. Do you understand? See you.” Wigmar stands up, taps your shoulder, and walks away.
“With those two men gone, I must say...” Dunja wants to say something face-to-face. “...Thank you for letting me out of prison. I’m in your debt. You seem interested in the well-being of these convicts, so I’ll work on making them have a pleasant time before I meet my employer again.” Now she quickly stands up and leaves.
Woah, this table is empty…
