>>5357034>>5357031>>5357025>>5357021>You damn well will eat this entire kraken, even if you have to drag it to the surface with you!>Pay no mind for the scavengers.>Before we abandon the ruins entirely, take what we are owed.Partly your pride, mostly your hunger but you aren't going to just abandon such a choice mound of meat! You don't suppose you have to be selfish with the corpse though; you get first dibs for all you can take, and others can have what would have gone to waste.
So then, time to eat!
<span class="mu-b">"-hork glurk krulk!"</span>
Like a thing possessed you tear into the dead kraken, ripping entire mouthfuls of octopus flesh free as quickly as you can. And since you're underwater you don't really need to worry much about choking! As you gulp down as much as you possibly can to the point of pain, chewed or not. A blood frenzy drove you to fight but hunger drives you still more to feed!
Lucky nothing else is getting close for the time being, lest you bite into them in your ravenous feasting, the water all around looking like a blender of flesh and blood. Opportunists filter back to pick on the bits and pieces scattered to the currents by you, but none yet are stupid enough to draw closer.

<span class="mu-b">"Ahh, now this is the life! Wouldn't you agree?!"</span>
A good while later, having stuffed yourself near to bursting, you clumsily dragged your spoils far enough away from the ruins to find a good brine pool to soak in... so long as you keep your gills above it, no problem to you! With the half-eaten carcass (and partly disintegrated from being dragged in shredded parts) within grabbing distance, and the Atlantean statue sitting beside you as if it were a fellow brine-basker, you feel quite content.
And you're not alone either, as an errant sperm whale and a huge gulper eel nervously share your company.
<span class="mu-b">"-oork... might have ate too much thou- urk..."</span>
As pleasant and relaxing as the experience is, you aren't kidding yourself on this. Your abdomen is tremendously distended with your grotesquely swollen belly. So much so that you keep puking up excess that your strained stomach can't hold, only to gingerly shove and swallow it back down. Not that you're in any danger, your sea monster appetite and body can handle it!
It's just a bit much to handle at the moment, but it will pass. And you'll be better for it, as a full belly and a soak in brine should clear up your wounds just fine! As grievously injured as you were, a few days or so and you'll be good as new... plus some gnarly scars of course, to add to the rest that cover your body. Such is the benefits of a constitution befitting that of a divine sea monster!
As well, it'll give you time to think about what comes next, now that you are finally free once more. Let the lands above tremble in fear of the coming tide!
