As the sword was shown there was a pair of footsteps from the other side of the room. Fulgrim looked on the other side of the room to see a Tech Priest’s mechanrite brandishing a Plasma Cavalier pointed in his direction. He looked around the room, giving a chuckle.
“Call off your dogs, TalOS.” Barked the Primarch as he gave a coy grin, “To think that you would have mobilized your own sons against me though. That might make you the first to do so.”
TalOS focused upon Fulgrim with a cold hard stare, “This matter is because you were belligerent. I welcome you into my planet and you have done nothing but yell and now brandish a weapon. Of my sons, they are a hearing to orders laid down since their creation to protect me.”
“Even against your own brother.” Fulgrim looked upon TalOS speechlessly.
“Yes, I did not give them any exceptions. They are to protect me at all times from all threats. It does not matter what cloth or whose face they wear.” TalOS made it firmly known as he stole a look towards his mother brandishing the Plasma weapon.
“What I ask of you is not that but a simple bout.” Pointed out Fulgrim as he raised a sheathed sword into the air, “I have heard from Horus that you have brawled Leman Russ. That you have lost to him, yet this has not guided you off this foolish path. I believe that is because you were holding back against Leman, believing that your true powers lie in those weapons integrated into your arms and mechanrites.”
“You think you can defeat me?”
“Yes~” Charmed the Emperor’s Children Primarch as he raised his sword before him, “The first to reach a strike shall win, and you can use all the weapons at hand. We will even do it here, so that none except your closest family will bear witness your defeat.”
“You are confident.” TalOS told his brother as he began working on battle protocols.
“I am ready, TalOS. Yet have I tested my mettle against any of my fellow brothers. You will be the first and even if you are no longer perfect still hold the ability of us.” Fulgrim told TalOS as he was prepared with his sword.
>Fine, we make this quick
>Why not a simple contest of strength?
>I will not hide it, come and see where glory is truly won.
